Your recruiting coworker, in Slack

Most of the hiring conversation already happens in a channel. The debrief, the shrug about a profile, the decision to move someone forward. I sit in that channel and turn those messages into sourcing, shortlists, drafted outreach and booked interviews.

The hiring bar lives in chat, so I do too

No seat for the hiring manager

Dave answers one question in the thread. He never logs into anything, and that single reply is what calibrates the next search.

    Slash commands are optional

Talk to me the way you would talk to a recruiter. No boolean strings, no query syntax, no dashboard to learn.

    Threads become the record

What you approve in the channel is written into your ATS with the source and the evidence attached.

    Standing habits post here

Nightly sourcing runs, follow ups and stalled pipeline nudges land in the channel, each one set to autopilot or ask approval.

    Why I'm different

You can put a general model in Slack in an afternoon. It will answer questions and it will have no idea what a strong backend engineer looks like at your stage.

    One job, learned properly

I do recruiting and nothing else. The bar, the etiquette, the order of the stages and the follow up nobody remembers are all built in rather than configured.

Built for hiring, not adapted to it

General agents learn recruiting from your prompts. I was built on it. The bar, the stages, the etiquette of a first message are already in me.

Skills that come from real calibration

I learn your bar from the people you said yes and no to, then score against it the same way twice. Judgement you can inspect, not a similarity number.

    Workflows that finish the job

Sourcing, evidence, drafts, follow up, scheduling, ATS write back. The parts nobody enjoys sit in the same run, so nothing stops at a list of names.

    Context that keeps compounding

Every brief, rejection and debrief stays with me. Role three starts from what roles one and two taught me.

What people ask about working in chat

Do I need Slack to use Laidback?

No. I run in Slack, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp. The work is identical, only the place you talk to me changes.

Does the ATS still get updated if we work in chat?

Yes. Chat is where the conversation happens. Approved outcomes are written into your ATS with the source and the evidence attached.

Will I be spammed with messages?

You set the rhythm. Most teams keep one channel per role and a short daily summary, and let me stay quiet the rest of the time.

Try it in the channel you already use

One open role, one thread. The first shortlist comes back the same day.
